Final Maps for the Master Plan

Based on feedback from community open houses, discussions with Town staff and feedback from the Greenway Advisory Committee, the maps were revised and included in the final draft of the Master Plan, which was adopted by the Town on October , 2015.  These maps provide a guide for the town to initiate the design process on specific trails and help the Town pursue funding from various sources. The final configuration of the corridors will be evaluated in a more thorough design process that will continue to involve the community.

Existing and Proposed Greenways
These are proposed trail alignments from a previous study conducted by Wake County around 2002. We will analyze these to see what makes sense and what doesn’t. But more importantly, we’ll look at potential connections to the proposed trails at the Town limits.
